ITINERARY:
DAY 01: Europe – Marrakech
Arrival to Marrakech, welcome by our staff & then transfer to the Riad at the heart of the medina.
Free time to visit the famous beautiful and charming & dynastic city of Marrakech & its highlights; lane, souks, tomb, museums, coranic schools/mederssa, rampart, mosques, minarets, palaces & gardens.
Day 02 : Marrakech (450m) – Oukaimden (2600m)- Summit ( 3268m)– Tachdirte (2400m) :
After breakfast, transfer on a minibus towards Oukaimeden, the 1st & highest ski resort in Africa, drive up the Ourika valley & cross many berber villages, arrival to Oukaimeden, set your equipments and then climb Oukaimeden summit (3200m) ski down to Tizi n’Addi (2960m) possibility to continue skiing until above Tachdirte village depending on snow level, if not there are porter to carry your staff until Tachdirte village where you will spend the 1stnight at the Berber house or Auberge.
Duration: 2hrs driving, 2hrs walking up & 30 min skiing down, 2hrs to walk till Tachdirte.
Altitude level: Positive: 668m – Negative: 1732m
Day 03 : Bouignaouane summit (3800m) Ascent:
After breakfast, climb 5hrs to reach the 2nd summit Bouignouane 3800m, superb sight on Tachdirte valley & the surrounding peaks like Angour 3600m, Likkemt 3600m, Aksoual 3920m etc…have your pack lunch & then ski down to Tachdirte which take 1.30hrs, find a hot lunch prepared by the team at the Auberge. Shower & relaxe the rest of the day or have a mint tea with a Berber family.
Duration: (6.00hrs uphill walking – Downhill 1.30hrs skiing)
Altitude level: Positive: 1400m – Negative: 1400m
Day 04: Tizi Likemt (3560m) Ascent – Imlil (1760m):
Early the morning towards the pass Tizi n’Likkemt 3600m, panoramic views over Imnane valleys & Adrar N’derne as well as Assif n’Ourai, ski down via a spacy couloir, depending on snow level, you can cross straight to Tizi n’Tamaterte or just stop on the road & walk towards Imlil through Tizi n-Tamaterte pass (2279m), nice view above Imlil valley. Overnight at the Berber house in Imlil.
Duration: (5.00hrs uphill walking – Downhill 1.30hrs skiing)
Altitude level: Positive: 1200m – Negative: 1321m
Day 05: Imlil (1740m) – Toubkal Hut (3207m):
After breakfast, head up to Toubkal Hut, that are often used as base camp at 3,207 m (10,522 ft), the normal route starts with an easy walk to the village of Aroumd, the last village of the valley, pass through a floodplain and the mules path follows the left slope of the valley southwards. The valley bends to the east to the tiny settlement of the Marabout Sidi Chamharouch, which has grown around a Muslim shrine. At Sidi Chamharouch, the path leads over the stream and runs steeply uphill to the right side of the Isougouane valley, which leads to Toubkal Hut, keep walking up until we reach the base camp, there are two stone-built refuges (old Neltner Refuge of CAF and new Refuge le mouflon).

Altitude level: Positive: 1467m
Day 06: Toubkal Hut (3207m) – Mt Toubkal Summit (4167m):
Set up your skis & climb Toubkal summit 4167m on the south-west of the hut, the highest summit in North Africa & 2nd one in Africa after Kilimanjaro/Tanzani, arrival to the peak after 3h30 walking, admire stunning views above the Atlas Mountains & valleys, enjoy the ski down to the Hut via Ikhibi circle southern side of the summit, a tasty mint tea & hot meal will be waiting for us. Overnight at the Hut.
Duration: (3.30hrs uphill walking – Downhill 1.30hrs skiing)
Altitude level: Positive: 960m – Negative: 960m
Day 07: Toubkal Hut (3207m) – Rass Ouankrim Summit (3800m):
This in another amazing ski adventure, climb the summit Rass Ouankrim 4088m on south-east of Toubkal Hut to enjoy view towards Azzaden & Agoundiss valleys, the ski down to the base camp the nice couloirs.
Alternative: depending on the tour duration, there are more summits to climb & ski down to the base camp (Akioud 4030m, les clochetons 3980m, Tadat 3750m).
After lunch at the Hut, walk down back to Imlil and then transfer back to Marrakech.
Overnight at the Riad.
Duration: (4hrs uphill walking – Downhill 1.30hrs skiing)
Altitude level: Positive: 881m – Negative: 2348m
Day 08: Marrakech – Europe.
Transfer to the airport & flight back home.
