The Valley of Ait Bouguemez
The valley of Aït Bougumez (Happy Valley) surrounded by peaks rising over 3000m is located in the middle of a mountain limestone massif. Stretching over 30km in length, it is dotted with many villages full of charm, clinging to the same rock, the inhabitants continue to live there according to the Berber traditions: sedentary farmer in the north of the massif, semi-nomadic pastors in the south. This valley has long been rich in its crops (especially apples) and has retained a broadmindedness and tranquillity very pleasant to visitors. TREK HIGHLIGHTS

Discovery of many villages built in the middle of the gorge, along the banks of the river. Here, the villages are still surrounded by tiny green gardens where barley, corn, wheat and a bouquet of Arab fruit trees grow: walnut, almond, fig, apple. This beautiful landscape rests in a discreet silence, that only the birds and the children of the villages crossed come to disturb. This wonderful day full of scenery, allows us to discover other new landscapes and a mountain people living in harmony with nature, true to its customs and traditions millennia. Arrival in the village of Ait Mraou installation a gite. Dinner and overnight stay. 5.5hrs walk. Day5: Ait Mraw - Azilal - Marrakech. After breakfast farewell to the team and drive back to Marrakech.
