Full day Horseback riding in the Atlas Mountains

During your trip in Marrakech, you could go out for a horseback riding adventure through the Berber villages and fields getting closer to Imlil valley.
Marrakech – Zaouit Bouhita – Amanar – Asni. 4-5hrs riding After breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech, our driver will pick you up and take to Zaouit Bouhita in Tahnnaout, the starting point of the riding journey towards the High Atlas Mountains, meet the team and start riding through Terre d’Amanar Accro park, cross a large pin, juniper, aok forest to reach Tizi n’Ouraken (1300m) where you will enjoy amazing views over Asni valley, Atlas Panorama, Mouly Brahim village and the whole Haouz plaine, continue via Lakhnout to get down to Rha Mly Brahim where you will be pick up and move to Imlil valley for lunch at the roof top of Riad Jnane Imlil overlooking the valley, Berber villages & Toubkal summit. After lunch you could either ride another hour or do a short walk to the waterfalls before going back to Marrakech. Distances: 35km drive from Marrakech, 15-20km riding. |

Horse riding up the atlas mountain by Patricia
Great day spent horse riding up the atlas mountain, we were picked up for a private tour at our hotel promptly. We had a fabulous guide named Mohamed , the horses were in good shape and behaved well. Fantastic panoramic views . Resting both horses and riders when needed. Mohamed was a lovely guide very knowledgeable about the history of the mountains. We then went up to a Riad for lunch which was tasty and Moroccan food. Then taken back to the hotel. Would recommend this tour to anyone . I had not ridden for over 30 years ,but my neice is an experienced horse woman it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Marrakesh
