ITINERARY:
Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains.
Departure to the Ourika valley in the High Atlas. On the road, you will stop in a pottery workshop. You can discover how famous tagine is made. Photo stop to take a panoramic view of the valley. On the way, you will stop at an argan cooperative to learn how to prepare tea in one of the Berber houses. Continuation of the road and stop at a restaurant most typical of the valley where you will eat your feet in a river in Setti Fatma, at the foot of the Atlas. The restaurateurs, in lack of space, built terraces in the river. After lunch, hike to discover the waterfalls with a local guide, then continue to Imlil valley on the foothill of Mount Toubkal.

Day 2: Hospitality and traditions of the Berbers in the Atlas.
We will prepare our dishes in a family home in Imlil valley, a Berber village in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, at 1800m altitude, at the entrance to the Toubkal National Park. Here you also have the opportunity to see how to make the traditional Berber bread called Tanourt, attend a tea ceremony and visit the watermill of the village.
Afternoon we will visit the craftsmen in the villages, (blacksmith traditional, Berber Traditional shoe beads, The carpenter...
Dinner and overnight at Riad Jnane Imlil.
Day 3: Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Rose valley. 360km
Depart early in the morning for Boumalne-Dadès through the high Atlas mountains, via Tizi n Tichka (2260 m) by the old road. Stop for Lunch at the local Berber house of Moha who will welcome you to his house and his family. After lunch, optional stop in Ouarzazate to discover the filming locations for several films including Asterix and Obelix Mission Cleopatra and the Mummy. Then you will see the UNESCO heritage site Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. Continuation of the road with a stop at the Kasbah of Taourirt, which was built in the 17th century, passing through the valley of roses.
Dinner & Overnight at the Berber house in Boumalne-Dadès.
Day 4: Nomads Berbere lifestyle.
Departure from Boumalne, the direction the gorges of Dadès. You cross the M’Sémrir valley by rural roads, you will find nomads where you will have the exceptional chance to help these families, often living in tents. Then take the road to the Todgha gorges for a walk in the heart of this immense oasis, you will meet breathtaking landscapes of canyons and green gorges.

Day 5: Todra Gorges - Merzouga.
After breakfast, you will take the road to Merzouga. You will see melon gardens and you will pass through the Henne culture region. Then you will cross the village of 40 Alnif weddings. Later, you will meet nomads on the road. Mystery stop to discover wild fossils. To complete this experience, embark on the back of dromedaries to go to a Berber camp where you will spend the night under the stars in a luxury tent. You will watch the sunset over the sand dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga
After breakfast, take a seat in your 4 × 4 and drive through the Merzouga desert. Known for its Erg Chebbi dunes, more commonly known as the Merzouga dunes, which are larger than 100 km², you will take advantage of a full day to experience this unforgettable experience. End of the day relaxing at your hotel pool.

Day 7: Merzouga - Alnif - Tazarine- Tamgrout - Zagora (230 km)
Sunrise and return to the inn for breakfast (shower possible) before departure for Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty currently in power.
You will make several stops and see spectacular landscapes. Discover the Saghro Mountains also known as the Babel Mountains. Meeting with a Berber family in a small village in the center of these mountains. Dinner in N’Kob, a small village known for its 45 Kasbahs. In the afternoon, take the road towards the Draa Valley.
Continue via the pre-Saharan plateaus and their vast expanses of acacia trees. In Tazarine, jebel Tizi n’Tafilalt track which leads to the national road a few kilometers after Zagora.
Dinner and overnight in Kasbah or bivouac under a tent in Nekhla.
Day 8: Zagora - Tamnougalt - Marrakech (350 km)
Après le petit déjeuner, la vallée du Drâa, 1ière région productrice de henné et de dattes. Sur plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres, de superbes oasis constellées de villages de pisé à l’architecture berbère traditionnelle.
Arrêt à Tamnougalte pour un aperçu de son ksar et son exceptionnelle kasbah enserrée dans la palmeraie de Mezguita.
Après une visite du site, retour tranquillement d’abord par le col du Tizi Tiniffift aux paysages lunaires et enfin le Tizi n’Tichka. Arrivée à Marrakech en fin d’après-midi, au coucher du soleil.
