ITINERARY:
DAY 1: FLIGHT TO MARRAKECH
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you are greeted by your tour guide who will take you to the Riad, a large traditional Moroccan house where you will stay overnight (20 min transfer). Then enjoy some free time to stroll through the colorful and diverse souks. They are known to be the most varied and rich in the country. Soak up the ambient excitement of these markets, where a multitude of small trades rub shoulders. Dinner in one of the downtown restaurants and overnight in the family riad.
DAY 2: MARRAKECH - TIMOULILT
In the morning, after a good breakfast, you leave for a guided tour of Marrakech, from the shaded streets to the sun-drenched squares. You will realize that this ancient capital has a sumptuous architectural heritage. The illustrious mosques, palaces, and riads still testify, for the pleasure of the eyes, to the glorious era of this important urban center under the Roman Empire. You head towards the famous Jamaâ El Fna square which invites you to ask yourself a moment, time to drink a mint tea, listening to the musicians. Let yourself be enchanted by the incessant spectacle of water carriers, snake charmers, tooth sellers and other sellers of everything and nothing. You will have lunch on-site in a neighborhood restaurant before hitting the road (4h transfer). You head for the peaceful village of Timoulilt at the foot of the Middle Atlas. The village is known for its cultivation of olive trees and cereals. You share dinner with your host family, where you also spend the night. Moroccan-style shared rooms and lounges.
DAY 3 TO 5: YOUR ACTION IN TIMOULILT
During your solidarity action, you join the women's cooperative in the village of Timoulilt. In order to encourage the economic revitalization of the village, the women joined together in an agricultural cooperative producing organic olives. In parallel, they are also carrying out an organic garden project to supply the village with quality food in a particularly arid region. In collaboration with them, you take part in an economic irrigation project linked to a cistern for the collection of water. This drip system thus allows water to be distributed without loss in the fields during the seasons.
The mornings are dedicated to solidarity action.
Your tasks are to:
- Prepare the ground for the vegetable garden
- Set up the tank and the entire irrigation system Depending on the season: planting, maintenance of existing gardens, weeding, irrigation, production of supports for vegetables, picking, etc.

- Visit the weekly souk of the village. It is the traditional market where the locals can buy everything they need: food, clothing, crafts, services, etc.
- Discovery of the town of Beni Mellal and the source of Ain Asserdoun, the ramifications of which flow and meander in the heart of a green and wooded garden. This source provides drinking water for the city and irrigation water for the surrounding land.
