After Breakfast at your Riad In Marrakech, depart towards the direction of Imlil Valley on the foothill of Mount Toubkal 4167m the highest pick in North Africa, 1.5hrs drive from Marrakech. Arrive at Imlil Valley, meet your local guide at Riad Jnane Imlil, share a glass of mint tea at the roof terrace enjoying the panoramic views over the Atlas Berber villages and Summit including Asaoul summit. Briefing about the day and start the walk up to Tizi N' Tamatert Pass at 2300m, between the Imlil Valley and Tachderte valley, walking through the Berber villages and Tamtert Forest, quick break at the pass and continue up to the summit, 1.5hrs walk, enjoying the stunning views over the Valleys and peaks covered with snow, unforgettable moment at the summit taking pictures while your guide explaining about the Atlas summits, valleys names, Berber lifestyle, and the Atlas history. Walking down with the same track to the Riad in Imlil valley, Lunch at the Roof terrace, afternoon short walk to visit the waterfalls and drive back to Marrakech. |
