Day trip to the Zat Valley (High Atlas)
After Breakfast at your Riad In Marrakech, departure towards the direction of Tighdouinedans the Zat valley 1.5hrs drive from Marrakech.
We will walk quietly at our own pace for 3 to 4 hours with break times to enjoy the magnificent landscape that awaits you. Adobe houses that blend with the color of the rock, lush and varied vegetation. The Zat valley is known for its olive trees and verbena cultivation, which you can smell when walking around.
We will go to the potters village, Talatast, following the mule tracks where a traditional lunch will be prepared for you, just for you, decorated with nuts, mint tea, tagine with seasonal vegetables (vegetarian or not, at your convenience), traditional bread baked in earthen ovens, herbal tea and seasonal fruit, all in a more than warm atmosphere. Then We will visit the Berber village and discover the potters workshops, then we will descend to the gaseous source of "Sidi Elouafi", drinking water very popular throughout Morocco.
at the end of the day, w drive back to Marrakech, drop off at your Hotel / Riad.
