Itinerary:
DAY 1: Marrakech > Tizi n’tast > Taroudant
Early departure to Taroudant through the Berber village of Asni; the Ougangan Valley; the High Atlas and the Tizi N’taste pass (2200 m above sea level). Arrival in Taroudant and visit of the city; with its monuments and the two souks (Arabic and Berber), called the little Marrakech. Night at the hotel.
DAY 2: Taroudant > Ighrem > the Tazagzaoute valley > Tafraout
After breakfast, departure by paved road to L’anti Atlas and Ighrem to discover Berber villages and the almond valley. After Ighrem we take a track which crosses the valley of Tazagzaoute with its procession of palm trees. Arrival in Tafraoute at the end of the afternoon. Night at the hotel.
DAY 3: Tafraout > Ait Mansour > Tafraout
Departure for a day to discover the Tafraout region with its painted rocks, the Amelnes valley, and the Ait Mansour valley. Return at the end of the afternoon to Tafraout. Night at the hotel
DAY 4: Tafraout > Col Kerdous > Tiznit > Agadir > Essaouira
Departure to Tiznit via the Kerdous pass; then Agadir to follow the Atlantic coast to Essaouira (Mogador) through the fields of banana trees and Tamanarte. Night at the hotel.
DAY 5: Essouira > Chichaoua > Marrakech.
Visit the city of Essaouira in the morning. Afternoon departure to Marrakech via Chichaoua. End of circuit.
