Atlas and Sahara tours designed this tour ATLAS and SAHARA MULTI-ACTIVITIES 8DAYS, to discover the most of the important sites in the Sahara desert and atlas Mountains, and do many outdoor activities, experience the treks around the Atlas peaks, the Sand dunes, Kasbahs, Ksars, Palm grove, and gorges, combined with Mountains bike and kayaking through the Berber villages and Valleys. |

DAY 1: Marrakech - Telouet - Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Todra gorges.
We leave early in the morning for a spectacular journey through the winding roads of the port called Tizi-N-Tichka crossing the High Atlas at an altitude of 2260m, we can then enjoy the spectacular view that this port offers us through the different Berber villages of the same color as the earth.
On the way we take a path to reach the kasbah of Telouet, was the palace of the lord of the Atlas Thami Elglaoui, visit the kasbah and head to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah via Ounila villages and kasbahs, arrive to the kasbahs and then walk to cross the river Ounila to stroll through the labyrinthine lanes of the fortified village, we Climb to the top of the hill to enjoy the most spectacular views of the kasbah, Ksars and palm groves.
Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, is a sand castle lined with almond trees where several films were shot including Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Obelix and Sahara with Penelope Cruz.
After the visit we continue to Ouarzazate for Lunch, afterwards We will follow the "Route des Mil Kasbahs" to Skoura where the kasbahs are in a deplorable state. Just outside the city there is a track that allows access to the mountains of M'goune (Mgoune) to enjoy the landscapes and enjoying drive through Palm grove of Thinghi and dades, arrive to the gorges late afternoon.

DAY2: Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
Today each couple will do adeferent activitie, one couple do 3hrs Rock climbing in the Gorges one of the premier climbing destinations in Morocco with high walls offering hundreds of routes of sport and multi-pitch climbing routes on solid, reddish limestone. There are hundreds of high-quality climbing routes covering a wide range of difficulty.
The second couple will do a 3 hrs trek through the palm grove and the gorges, with the opportunity to cool off in the river, Crossing the old village of Tizgui and hiking in the food gardens the palm grove and the oasis of Thodgha to Tinghir, distance 14 km, small physical condition, average walkers after the trek meet all together at the Riad for Lunch and continue our tour towards Merzouga. On this way, we pass by Erfoud where we will visit a fossil workshop. Arrive to Merzouga town where we meet camels and cross the dunes to the Erg chebbi enjoying the exceptional and typical sunset and the silence of the desert, inforgetabl evening with nomads music around the fire at the nomadic camp.

DAY 3: Experience desert life Camel ride and Nomads visit.
Early Morning we climb the sand dune to see the sunrise enjoying an amazing morning inside the dunes, breakfast and ride our camels through the dunes heading to visit the nomdic family in their tents, lunch with the family and come back to the camp, afternoon free time at the dunes.
Overnight at the luxury nomadic camp in the dunes.

DAY 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Nkob - Agdez.
After breakfast, ride the camels back to the big road meet the driver and departure to the vast palm Tafilalet through the city of Rissani the ancient capital of Tafilalet, pass via Alnif and the Tazarine oasis towards Nkob, Lunch at the local restaurant and continue along the Draa valley with its palm groves and Kasbahs, arrive to Agdez town late afternoon.
Overnight at comfortable Kasbah at the old village.

DAY 5: Agdez– Taznakht – Taliouine – Tizi NTest – Ijoukak – Imlil Valley.
Early Breakfast and departure towards the Atlas Mountains via Taznakht where spinning and weaving are part of every woman's diary, and weaving is an essential tool in every home, short visit of women cooperative of carpets at the village and continue our tour to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron producing region, we have the option to visit the Safran cooperative, before we drive through Tizi Ntest pass crossing the high Atlas towards imlil Valley on the foot of Mt Toubkal the highest peak in the north Africa,
Overnight at Riad Jnane Imlil next to the Mt Toubakl.

DAY 6 : Atlas Mountains Trek.
Today we climb up one of the summit above 2700m high on the foot of Mt Toiubkal enjoying the panoramic views on the atlas peaks covered with snow and the Berber villages and valleys, Lunch at the Mountains pass at altitud of 2300m , afterwards trek down to the village and visit the waterfalls, afternoon relax near the pool at the Riad, optional to do the Cooking Class for your dinner.

After breakfast at the Riad meet our MTB team, carry our bikes on the Mules from the village to the Mountains pass of Mizik at 2400m high, short break at the pass to prepare our bikes and heading down to Tamsoult waterfall, enjoying the stuning views on the colorful valley of Azzaden while we cycling through the single track of Juniper Forest, quike visit of the waterfall and continue toTizi Oussem Village an An authentic example of traditional Moroccan architecture, and head to Id AASA village for Lunch at the Berber house, after lunch cycling up the Tizi Ntachet pass at 2000m short break at the pass to take photos, and then riding through an amazing off road towards Tagadirt village near the big road, meet our driver and back to the Riad in Imlil.

After breakfast meet the team and make any final packing requirements before we drive towards Ourika River , arrive to Setti Fatma village, where we will star our journy through Ourika, On the water and paddling down the river across to the beautiful villges, 4-5hrs kayaking. Lunch at the Local restaurant near the river, afternoon head to the Hotel in Ourika valley.
