Ait Benhadou Ksars Kasbahs day trip from marrakech, a passion of many international actors & films producers, AitBenhadouKsars is a unique Moroccan partimoin & unesco world heritage since 1987, located 190km southeast of Marrakech just after crossing the High Atlas Mountains Range via theTizin’Tichka pass (2660m). you drive along the Ounila valley and pass via many Berber villages and great desert landscapes before arriving to AitBenhadou by 11am and travers the river to visit the huge Kasbahs &Ksars.The site has been used for several famous movies including GLADIATORS, LAWRANCE OF ARABIA, ALI BABA & many other oscar winning movies.
The site’s architecture, location & landscape with thee charactermakes it special with huge &magnificent Kasbahs &Ksars with a traditional style (wooden ceiling, small connected bedrooms, kitchens, guest salon and other parts of the Berber homes with beautiful views of the village that was established by the Pasha Galoui who has governed the area as well as Marrakech during the forties, it also shows the life style of the Berber inhabitant during the period of the French occupation.

The site is accessible via the scenic Telouet valley, it is also an opportunity to visit the Pasha Glaoui’s Kasbah before you reach the authentic Berber village of AitBenhadou or AitAissa.
If the time allows to visit the Kasbah Taourirt at the heart of Ouarzazate, it was also owned by the Pasha ThamiGaloui.
After a visit & lunch, drive back to Marrakech via the same road,
