Itinerary
-
Day 1:
Marrakesh - Imi Oughlad – Tinzert.
pick up from Marrakech & drive towards the High
Atlas Mountains, arrival to Imi Oughlad (1450m), the
starting point of the trek, meet your Berber guide &
muleteer, head off to Toubkal National park Tassa
Ouirgane side through a juniper forest with a
stunning view over Ghighaya valley & Oukaimeden on
the est side & Ouirgane valley on the west side,
arrival to Tinzerte a small remote Berber village.

Overnight at the Berber house.

Day 2:
Tinzert - Azzaden Valley (Id Aissa).

After breakfast, trek up to the
authentic Azzaden Valley, a gentle traverse &
stunning view over the valley with its original
Berber villages, continue our walk until Id Issa
village (1800m)

Overnight at the Berber house.

Day 3: Ait
Aissa - Tizi n Mzik – Imlil.

Enjoying a scenic view of the
valley with its walnut groves surrounded by water
stream along to Tamsoulte shelter, gentle & easy
hike through Tizi Oussem & juniper forest up to the
end of the valley to visit the highest waterfall ion
the Atlas Mountains Aghorghiz waterfalls, afterwards
we have 2 options:

A: we can head back on
the path a little to join Tizi Mzik (2489m) pass
which will lead us to Imlil valley, admire the
stunning view over Ait Mizane valley, down to Imlil
village, time to leave back to Marrakech.

B: The second choice is to
head up to Tizi n’Tzikerte (3100m) which offers a
different view over Toubkal summit & Aremed village
(this is one require 2hrs uphill to arrive to the
pass) down to Aremed village panoramic view over
the path leading up to Toubkal base camp & the
shrine sidi Chamharouch, usually you will see people
walking up & down along the mule path, arrive to
Aremed and the continue the walk down to Imlil for
the pick up & transfer back to Marrakech.
